Comments about Just Cause 2 (PC):
This is a good game in the open world style. However, the game isn't as good as the best examples of this type of game. For the price its pretty worthwhile though, just don't expect anything too amazing.

Comments about Just Cause 2 (PC):
Out of the box, it's easy to see that this game is going to be good. You're thrown straight into two reasonably challenging missions that effectively act as your tutorial.
After the tutorial by fire, you're put on an island with a similar familiar feeling to the original. The first striking similarity to the original is the grappling hook, which is fantastic to use to get around and to escape enemy fire. There are also a multitude of different side missions to undertake in between doing the main storyline. So, much the same as the original, you can spend hours just playing around without advancing the storyline (if that's what you like to do).
I have no bad comments to say about the overall gameplay. I found it to be very enjoyable and action filled. However I did have quite a few crashes which made me use expletives on a few occasions. However I have a sneaking suspicion that it is my RAM causing the crashes. This is the only game I have that does that though so it must be at least partly responsible for the crashing.
So, if you want an action packed shooter with many vehicles, weapons, explosions and side missions, then this is for you. It certainly satisfies my gaming requirements.

Comments about Just Cause 2 (PC):
This game is one of the most fun action games I've played all year!
It's as if the designers looked at the things people really *want* in games (ie. explosions, ludicrous combat, stunt driving, lots of vehicles flying off cliffs, etc) and just combined them into one game.
The plot is simple - as a CIA operative you must destabilise the government of a small island nation - by blowing everything up.
Just about everything in this game is destructible and/or explodes, and you get points for all of it :)
The physics engine is excellent, and the grappling hook and parachute you always have access to make for a constant series of ludicrous stunts.
The graphics are beautiful.
The only downside is that after a while the missions can get a little repetitive - but since the missions are just an excuse for blowing things up or racing unlikely vehicles around the island during gunfights, that's not a major downside.
