Comments about Arma 2 (PC):

This game had the makes of a great game, amazing graphics, large free roam area heaps of guns a vehicles and heaps more... Unfortunately this things don't make up for the horrible game play, the game is very realistic, probably too much so and the game does not flow very well there is a lot of standing around doing nothing.

Comments about Arma 2 (PC):

Arma 2, as it comes off the shelf, has more bugs than your average suburban backyard. But don't despair as the Arma 2 community works around the clock to produce updates and custom units to complement the official patches. If you have the time and aptitude to upgrade the program with the various patches and tweaks, you will find Arma2 to be one of the most realistic all round ground/air military sims on the market.

Its single player story line and single missions will be familiar to those who played the original Operation Flashpoint as are many other features within the simulation. However for those able to take the game online, you will soon find that the single player mode lacks any real incentives which may reflect on the AI.

By far Arma 2's strengths are in its online community. If you find the right servers you will soon be able to join in and engage in some as-real-as-it-gets action. Be warned however, this is not a CoD style arcade game, as the code of conduct is such that team work and common sense are key to its enjoyment and experience.

I gave it four stars, based on the final outcome of the product after upgrading it, however if the final product was not supported by such a great community then I would probably have dropped it to three or even two stars. The graphics are not the best, but compared to its competition it fairs well.
