Description

Lisbeth Salander is a wanted woman. Two Millennium journalists about to expose the truth about sex trafficking in Sweden are murdered, and Salander's prints are on the weapon. Her history of unpredictable and vengeful behaviour makes her an official danger to society - but no-one can find her. Mikael Blomkvist, editor-in-chief of Millennium, does not believe the police. Using all his magazine staff and resources to prove Salander's innocence, Blomkvist also uncovers her terrible past, spent in criminally corrupt institutions. Yet Salander is more avenging angel than helpless victim. She may be an expert at staying out of sight - but she has ways of tracking down her most elusive enemies.

Comments about QUERCUS PUBLISHING Stieg Larsson - Girl Who Played with Fire:

Following on from the first book, this is no longer a murder mystery but has turned into a spy story about conspiracies and vigilantism. The tonal changes surprised me, but it makes the writing no less intriguing and i was still compelled to keep reading. The ending of the book bothered me because it was quite a "To be continued..." ending, but apart from that and the abundance of information you are given, i thought it was a great read and a great part 2.

Comments about QUERCUS PUBLISHING Stieg Larsson - Girl Who Played with Fire:

    Amazing, simply amazing.
The second installment of the Millennium trilogy is as un-put-down-able as the first was. Lisbeth Salander is a heroine unlike any other. Flawed, anti-social and rebellious, Salander's actions work according only to her personal morals. Not the law!
The mystery itself has twist after twist, like any good mystery should!
    Definitely recommend to almost anyone!
