Comments about VIDMARK/TRIMARK New in Town:
Like most romantic comedies, New in Town is what it is - a movie about two people who don't like each other, then end up liking each other. The movie deserves credit for bringing the two characters together in an unorthodox manner (snowdrifts and hard liquor rarely rear their heads as catalysts in such movies), but in the end you will file it away in your brain with every other romantic comedy that serves to break even on opening weekend, and nothing else.
