Description

For a man well into his late 60’s, playing 33 songs for 2 hours and 40 minutes is a massive task. Nonetheless, Paul McCartney performed three shows to over 120,000 people. Playing at the same stage The Beatles played 45 years ago, McCartney’s ‘Good Evening New York City’ at the Shea Stadium had Paul and his band play through a variety of memorable tracks.

You've got old Beatle songs like the slower ‘Let It Be’, ‘Hey Jude’ and ‘Blackbird’, to the rocking ‘Back in the USSR’ and ‘Helter Skelter’ tracks. He also plays songs from the Wings-era, and solo work. The greatest part about these CDs is the absence of any audience banter between songs. The tracks play continuously, leaving the DVD to give the more personable atmosphere.

The DVD contains all thirty three songs in High Definition, with not only the 15 positioned cameras around the stadium, but incorporating 75 flip cameras that were handed out to fans before the show.
