Recollection features 22 of lang's most beloved recordings including an all-new interpretation of the Leonard Cohen classic "Hallelujah," which has become a moving highlight of her live performances. The Guardian describes her rendition as "mesmerising: she reaches into the air, plucking the tiniest note from within her huge range, bends double, before throwing her head back and unleashing her pitch-perfect roar."
Recollection comes on the heels of lang's critically acclaimed 2008 release, Watershed, for which Australia delivered lang's first ever number #1 album in the world. Watershed was hailed by Rolling Stone as "first-rate singer-songwriter music" and Interview Magazine as "[lang's] biggest album yet."

Needless to say, k d lang has a sensitive voice that makes every songs alive. Outstanding rarities like so-in-love and skylark are included in this complilation. I am so satisfied.

KD Lang's career spanning collection of her greatest hits and rare tracks. There are two version of this cd . A two disc and a four disc set. I had originally bought the two disc one and decided to upgrade to the four disc set. Much better and worth the extra money for the rare 11 tracks and a bonus dvd of her videos and some rare live footage. I am a fellow Canadian and have been a fan since her start in Canada's prairies. This set is excellent and highly recommended.
