Description
Their delivery of ‘Plastic Beach’ does not disappoint, ageing the wild band a little, having a five year break from their last release, and collaborating with an incredible cast of musicians. With vocal appearances by Snoop Dogg, Mos Def, Lou Reed and others, there are just as many curious sounds that’ll add to the group’s already mesmerizing repertoire of rock, electricity and hip-hop. These tracks have an upgraded version of contemporary pop music, without the risk of cheapening the Gorillaz to a second-rate group.

Comments about EMI Gorillaz - Plastic Beach:
OK I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS CD FOR SOME TIME AND WHEN I GOT IT FIRST I WAS A LITTLE DISAPOINTED AFTER THE EXCELLENT DEMON DAYS.IF I HAD REVIEWED IT AT THE TIME I WOULD HAVE PROBABLY ONLY GIVEN IT TWO STARS BUT LIKE ANY GOOD ALBUM ITS A GROWER.I GIVE IT FOUR STARS NOW BUT WHO KNOWS I MIGHT WANT TO GIVE IT FIVE NEXT WEEK.I'D RECOMEND IT TO ANYBODY WITH A BROAD RANGE IN MUSIC BUT ABOVE ALL STICK WITH IT.

Comments about EMI Gorillaz - Plastic Beach:
Gorillaz is one of the few groups that I (and my family) can hear over and over again. This new record is of a high standard. My two girls are going to the Roskilde Festival in Denmark this year. And they are just mad about to hear "Gorillaz". And I am not envious...

Comments about EMI Gorillaz - Plastic Beach:
There's a good amount of tracks but every track is different. It's a great record to play when you're doing some work. I do miss the guitar a little though.
